his first, and arguably best album from the great rozenblit catalogue lovingly restored in its original format on limited lp, re-mastered from the original rozenblit master tapes. in 1968 tom ze moved from salvador, bahia to sao paulo where he hung out and wrote with his friends gilberto gil and caetano veloso. although initially part of the tropicalia movement, ze was extremely independent and determined to forge his own musical path. he started by recording grande liquidacao, a hyperactive pop album backed up by two incredible psychedelic rock bands: os brazoes and os versateis.

a side >under< from evol intent featuring vocals from singer/song writer jackie b. this dubstep track is dark, sexy, melodic, and poppy, with a bass riff and drums that encourages you to urgently to hit the dance floor, and shake your ass. the vocals are sexy and consistent. she reminds me of esthero in how she can make underground production sound so polished. yet she can take you places emotionally because she makes intelligent choices her vocal tonality. the production is dark, and sounds like a eerie episode of a twin peaks score. you will be hearing lots more music from her really soon. she is also a great producer as well. 500 limited edition 180 gram vinyl double album that comes with 32 page comic novel. written and illustrated by ulrich troyer. songs for william is the first in a trilogy of experimental dub projects from ulrich troyer and deep medi musik. ulrich troyer was born in innsbruck and raised in tyrol austria, he studied architecture and music at university and now resides in vienna where he lives and works as a freelance artist and musician. ulrich has been producing music and experimenting with electronics for over 10 years on various projects that include soundtracks for movies, dance productions, exhibitions and sound installations. since 2005 ulrich has also been performing live as a member of the vegetable orchestra.songs for william sees ulrich explore his love for dub music and the experimentations of pioneers such as king tubby, sound dimension and rhythm and sound alongside the influences of mulatu, tony allen and the psychedelic sounds of selda. to accompany this release is the first part chapter of a comic novel featuring the main character william (a guitar effect pedal!) and his journey! all analogue synthesizers, effects, stompboxes, samplers, guitars, percussion and melodica played, programmed, recorded and dubbed by ulrich troyer at the 4bit studio vienna.

krasimir gyurov (vizar) has dealt with electronic music since 2000. his style is influenced by nature with hypnotic deep pads and mystic drones. in 2004 he made a contact with underground a netlabel scene and several years later he released his first eps for spanish netlabels offaudio and antiritmo. from 2008 he played on the biggest underground techno festival in his country bulgaria - artmospheric festival, where the guests were donato dozzy, brando lupi, dave twomey. ness became interested in electronic music in the late 90s. in 2004 he started djing, taking inspiration from various genres going from trance to pure experimentation. the interest in music led him to attend various courses and audio engineer for some years and the conservatory of his hometown. the need to express his emotions through music led him to experiment and research in recent years that better reflect his sound.since 2009 he founded his own label mono records with his friend bettosun, and releases music in labels such as prologue, sonata and varianz. the experience gained over the years leads to define his dj sets that are characterized by a strong array of techno and house at the same time.

new york noise describes the period in history (1978-88) where new york art and music collided. beginning in the mid-1970s, new york city s soho and east village became a hot-bed of musical and artistic ideas. owing to new property laws, downtown new york and its many warehoure and loft spaces became the home of artists, bands, filmmakers, studios, art galleries and more. in this small area partically every musican was also an artist, every artist a filmmaker and every filmmaker was in a band. this scene is documented over a vibrant ten year period and the book includes pictures of jean-michel basquiat, david byrne, suicide, keith haring, glenn branca, esg, madonna, laurie anderson, philip glass, afrika bambaataa and hundereds more previously unseen photographs. with accomanying text from david byrne, laurie anderson, cindy sherman and more, this is an essential record of a fascinating era in new york s cultural history.

gutis name has been on everyones lips of late. his collaboration with dubshape -every cow has a bird- was championed by pretty much every house jock on the planet and his recent debut album on loco dices desolat received widespread acclaim. now hes teamed up with luca bacchetti - who has built up a solid reputation with releases on imprints on labels such as ovum recordings, wagon repair, supernature and be as one - for their first collaborative release. the esa nena quiere ep contains two sizzling slices of latin-flavoured loveliness, both of which are instilled with an appropriately warm blaze of summer sunshine. both extremely creative and massively complimentary of one another, this is a collaboration that looks likely to blossom in the future, but for now we caught up with them both to discuss the eps origins, their studio time together, and where exactly where the record is best enjoyed

it took a while but we finally got this great remix ep together from catz n dogz escape from zoo album. tanner ross flexes his e-funk biceps and shows us that just a little bit goes a long way with huge bass and sparse vox. this remix goes against the grain the right way, showing restraint and power at the same time. the main man of detroit, carl craig also delivers a sparse and beautiful mix, 1st giving us a lesson in how to properly tweak the space echo and then bringing it back with classic strings and subs. both mixes are getting major support from all across the globe from sebo k to troy pierce to ewan pearson to martyn to l-vis 1990 to james zabiela - overall probably the best feedback we had in a while on a record to be honest.. all great for our kids at the detroit youth foundation where the mothership label donates 100% of profits! also, special thanks to matt colton at air studios, london for donating a mastering session for free to cut this record and support our school.

somewhere between center parcs in nottingham and the white sandy perfection of formentera reside two men dedicated to the art of horizontal dancing. their mums call them ampo and timm (funny names, those notts lads), though we know them by their collective name of coyote. in their minds eye, it is still 1986 and there are leathery looking germans with alarming posing pouches dancing to simply red records on the shimmering terrace at ku club while down the road alfredo is building his legendary reputation at amnesia. apart from the clued-up few, most of the brits are billeted in san antonio where the beers are cheap and the sunburn is plentiful. coyotes music, despite being produced in the east midlands conjures up a world of sun, sea and 80s glamour, while still sounding very much like today.

the second release on oasi lab has a duo of artists already known for their collaborations with labels like: tuning spork, resopal, and amam. they are mr.bizz & matteo spedicati! second release have two original tracks >naitoku< and >kyoto<, full tech house style both, where bass riffs and vocals are very important. to embellish the ep is >naitoku< remix by mulder nl, producer present in highest quality labels like: bla bla, be real, suara, just to name a few, and collaborations with daniel sanchez. mulder remix have high quality deep and detroit sonorities that will almost certainly not disappointed lovers of the most exigent clubs.

you might not be aware of this artist or lp… but thats all about to change. this is the holy grail of cosmic disco… that disco kids dont even know yet. released in 1978 on little known inter global records, this lp is one of the most in demand, expensive & undiscovered albums of this genre. just check discogs! not much is known about the group, where their from or what they went on to do, but that doesnt stop every track on this album being a bonafide killer. arguably the albums highlight is jamaica electric, but unlike most cosmic disco lps where there is just one main track, every outing on this lp is unique and of the highest quality. cosmic, mind bending disco at its finest… sounding so fresh it couldve been made by prins thomas or lindstrom this year.

dust science is proud to present the second release from dadavistic orchestra, a collaboration between the black dog and 3 former members of fellow electronic pioneers the psychick warriors of gaia. dadavistic orchestras first release, >dokument .01<, showcased the two groups love for dadaism and all that it inspired. dokument .02 continues with this theme. where the first release was a double a-side of ambient electronic drone, dokument .02 is a six track album of beatless but very high impact electronics. each track weighs in at around 11 minutes of evolving, warm, and affecting analogue deepness. endlessly fascinating and continuously stimulating, these pieces are long, and yet highly economical.

aah, how we have missed them! the fine young gentlemen that are channel x, two of stil vor talents most active producers of meticulously crafted and deeply energetic tech-house smash hits. and just in time for the open-air season they now come back with two very convincing pieces of dancefloor art. first up is >little symphony<, an epic space opera that takes it cues from early 90s techno and mixes it up with post-modern grooves and beats. the wide and open spaces are filled with some very hymnal string patterns that are given a final treatment with a reverbed and high-pitched vocal sample. contrast that with the rather jittery beat and a subbass as deep as the frequencies will go and you got yourself a substantially clear bit of techno that is best imagined when it is dark and only some beams of air tell you where you are. channel x do not produce, they direct and all of the sounds are their actors! on the flip things get more light-hearted and set for the daylight hours as well. >steamboat willie< is a heavily sample-orientated swinging piece of jack. the rhythm guitar lead the way on top of a clap-based loop that sets the basis for some very jazzy interpretations along the way. clarinets, trumpets, percussions, brass, effects and even some talking vocal samples are all allowed to join in this hedonistic big band that is at play. this is one for the sunshine, this is one for the smiles on the faces, this is one to feel instantly good about yourself and everything around you. two very different tracks on this ep, but both equally stand out for themselves
